Mobility
****Outgoing International PHD Mobility :
Several funding options are available for outgoing doctoral mobilities within the MAIA project :
- Erasmus+ : The Erasmus+ program can fund doctoral mobilities from 3 to 12 months. To benefit from an Erasmus+ scholarship, the doctoral student's home university must have a doctoral exchange agreement with the host university. In addition, the doctoral student must obtain a favorable opinion from the DREDV (Direction des Relations Européennes et de la Coopération Internationale).
- Mermoz Scholarship : The Mermoz scholarship is a doctoral mobility scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. It is intended for French doctoral students who wish to carry out a research mobility in a country outside the European Union.
- Funding by partner institutions : The partner institutions of the MAIA project can also offer funding for outgoing doctoral mobilities. It is important to contact each partner institution to find out the eligibility conditions and application procedures.
****Incoming Master's fellowship :
The MAIA project offers 10 new scholarships per year for Master students who wish to enroll in one of the study programs offered by the partner institutions.
- MAIA scholarships offer financial support of €600 per month for a period of 22 months.
- MAIA scholarship holders can combine their scholarship with an Erasmus scholarship, subject to eligibility, and can also apply for Crous housing, which should be booked in advance as places are limited.
****Outgoing Master international :
The MAIA project offers 100 outgoing mobility opportunities for Master students enrolled in one of the study programs of the partner institutions.
- These mobilities last 6 months and include a scholarship of €600 per month and a travel allowance of €700, for a total of €3400 per mobility.
- MAIA scholarship holders can also apply for an Erasmus scholarship and/or a Crous scholarship, subject to eligibility.
- Mobilities are preferred during semesters 3 and 4 of the Master's program.
****Erasmus Mundus :
The implementation of the Erasmus Mundus MAIA program requires the collaboration of several actors. The pedagogical component is responsible for building the program's pedagogical model, which will define the teaching content, assessment methods and student pathways. The international relations office can provide administrative support for the application submission and the program management.
Information on application procedures and eligibility criteria will be available soon on the MAIA project website. Procedures and deadlines vary depending on the funding program. Please contact the secretariat for more information.
